I appreciate that. Rei's told me some stories about the stuff you guys faced. I know ghosts are pretty low-tier but they were a lot harder to deal with than I expected. But I'm fine, Tadashi's fine, Baymax is fine...we're gonna start looking into putting a stronger tracking system on him. We just gotta hope that they'll take it easy for the next couple of days, at least.

The key to beating an enemy is to never under-estimate them. While the ghosts certainly didn't try to destroy the planet, they were still able to form illusions and put people under a trance among their other abilities. If you want, I would be happy to help with that. Rei, Minako, and I were able to keep in touch during the ghosts and back on Tellus. May I recommend setting up a rendezvous point for emergencies, though.

I don't underestimate anything in Cerealia anymore, but the real problem I'm having with all of this is expecting them to behave the way most normal things should. I know we're on an alien planet but this is getting way out of hand. I might take you up on that but...I'd rather work on it with Tadashi first? [Hiro, that's rude.] It's just that we always work as a team and we make a lot of our projects together. It'll be nice to work on something with him again. But definitely gonna have to set up a rendezvous point for next time. Things you don't think of until it's too late, right? That means you, Rei and Minako have one too don't you?

They fit quite typically into how ghosts work in Japan, I suppose Japanese ghost stories are unique compared to American ones. And we are only surprised because we are ignorant, make no mistake, I endeavor to fix that. I understand, I tend to work alone to be honest so I will be fine. [That, or she works with Luna and Artemis.]

Our apartment, though with the communicators we can always keep in touch. That has not been affected by anything here on this planet or in the colony as of yet, something I endeavor to maintain.

I used to read all kinds of ghost stories when I was a kid including Japanese folklore and stuff like that. Not that hard to find them in the library where we're from. I don't want to be ignorant though.

[That's his biggest problem here.] I work alone or I work with Tadashi...I guess now I kinda work with a team or I work with Ruby and Dipper and people like them. But for this? Definitely a Hamada Brothers Project. "Yet." Let's hope it stays that way. I'm working on my own project that kinda functions like that, too. I just wish they'd let up for a few minutes so I can finish instead of having half-built tech all over the workshop.

Ah yes, San Fransokyo, I would be curious to know how that happened, in truth. I suppose it is far more accessible in a place like that. I understand when some things are meant just for siblings. I don't believe I've met Ruby, however. If you need any help, Hiro, I'm always happy to. I hope you'll let me get a chance to see it when it's done.

How what happened, San Fransokyo? Tadashi never told you the history? You should meet her sometime. [Said in the most unbiased opinion ever.] She's great, she's been here as long as Tadashi has. She works at the tech and auto shop too. She makes a lot of her own weapons and weapons for other people. She helped me craft mine. Sort of. She just gave me ideas, but I built the thing. And of course…who knows when it'll be done. Hopefully soon. I'm REALLY close to finishing something that's going to change everything. But I always appreciate the offer, Ami. You know the same goes for you right?

It's not come up in our conversations, no. But I would like to hear it all the same. I would be happy to, perhaps we should hold another dinner party and movie night at the apartment with her as a guest. Rei and I were talking about that recently. She sounds lovely, and quite intelligent, I'm sure she's a wonderful person. I'm glad you are able to work well with her. Well, provided there are no more... sudden arrivals or sudden vacations, I'm sure you'll finally have the opportunity to work on them. I've started the chemical break down for the current clippings I have, if you want to come by sometime and take a look. Thank you, Hiro, I do now.

It's a pretty weird history compared to how other versions of Earth go from what we can tell. Maybe we can tell you about it next time the three of us hang out or something. Yeah? I kinda told her I'd invite her next time we have another dinner night anyway so that'd be pretty okay. [What he's not telling Ami is that he told Ruby about Ami's crush on Tadashi and asked for backup in watching for that...] Hopefully we'll get to do that soon before the next crazy thing comes up. I'd totally be up for coming by sometime to see what you've got started. I'm not sure how long it'll take me to finish my projects but I can always take a break whenever you've got time to show me what you've got. Where'd you end up setting up a lab?

I'm glad you liked the dinner party to want to come to one again, and more still to invite someone to it. Is Ruby your age or more mine? Ah, no lab just yet, I've been side-tracked with things myself, but I'm researching spaces as we speak in the research tower.

I think Rei and I agreed that it's good for all of us. Get all of us out of our own heads and spending time making friends with other people. Ruby's my age! Sort of. She's maybe a couple of months older than me? But we're about the same. Her older sister's closer to your age though I think. Let me know what you find. I bet there's all kinds of interesting things in there.

Is her older sister coming as well? We have a big enough dinner table for it, so that's fine. Well, I mean, I work there, Hiro. I don't really have to search too terribly hard, especially when it comes to getting to various levels of it.

I haven't actually asked yet, but if she wants to come along I'll let you guys know ahead of time. STILL. You know as well as I do that some levels are more empty than others. Or the rooms are occupied.

Not underestimate, no. I do however, think you forget that there are other ways to gain information and you choose to keep going about it in one specific manner.

You're much smarter than that, so yes. But under the circumstance, I'll forgive it and am willing to teach you other methods like infiltration that is far more effective whenever you would like.

That'd actually be pretty cool. And...that could just stay between us, right?
