They stopped talking about anything after they mentioned sacrifices.

.... Then we'll have to figure out what bothers them about sacrifices, and just who was doing the sacrificing. Who gave you the most information of the spirits?

The villagers. We stayed at their village for a little while and camped out in the evening. They were trying to kill us at first, but Hiccup and Toothless were able to get them to talk to us.

[ he reclines in his seat and lets out a deep sigh. it's pretty nice having somebody to talk to about this. he just needs to release his stress. ]

Ah, I am familiar with Hiccup-san, I'm glad he was there. [Though she had no clue who "Toothless" was.] I'm gladder still that the villagers could-

Yeah. It's been that way since our first time in the jungle.

I assure you, that is quite new knowledge to me, there were no villagers when I was on the beach, only a kraken, and he was not inclined to listen to polite conversation.

[ of course, he doesn't have them with him right now. they're back at his apartment. he figures he'll return it to him the next time they meet. ]

Well... those are for food and animals, I suppose we can add the villagers to the animals one. [She has a system she doesn't like it messed with!] It would be best. Although, I do want the journals made available to the rest of the populace, especially since so many tend to return to the jungle.

[ it's clear tadashi's calmed down from the sound of his voice. and their orders get served, as well, too. he wonders if ami'd go back to her own chair or not, but this is fine where they are. he hasn't even noticed that he hasn't taken his hand away from hers, yet. ]

I've typed up all the data in your journals and digitised them, so there shouldn't be any problem sharing the information if you'd like that.

[Ami doesn't really see the need to move, and she hasn't noticed either, quite content to offer her support and stay by his side. She smiled, though, when he mentioned he already digitized them.]

Tadashi that's wonderful! Thank you! I would be very eager to share that information. I wouldn't want such important knowledge kept secret.

And I wouldn't want something as important as your journals to have gotten destroyed.

[She blushed a tiny bit.] Well, thank you for taking care of them, I'm more glad you and Hiro came back safe, though. Looks like you don't have to worry about never achieving a scientific breakthrough.

[She chuckled.] So you did. Well, I'm really glad to have entrusted you with them, then. I won't have you make promises to me often, then, as they aren't things to take lightly.

I, uh, sorry. [ he says, looking elsewhere. his voice may have gone a couple pitches up as he apologised. this is awkward. ]

[Ami seemed to blush and realized that she also had their hands linked. She pulled away, beet-red in the face.]

I-It's fine. [Since she was the one who initiated the hand holding... She suddenly realized she was too close and scooted away.]

I-I-It's honestly a very nice cafe, I've not eaten here before. I-I-I tend to always eat at the apartment or take lunch to work.

The food's good, and this is a nice place to be when you want to brainstorm since it's so quiet and private.

Oh ah, I have two jobs here. A personal chess instructor which I can schedule on my own time, and then a data analyst.

At the CERES tower, huh? That's a bit far from the tech shop, but maybe we can meet here some time when we're both on our breaks.
