Aurora

LUXRAY Electric Type

Met at Level: Egg Current Level: 70 Gender: Female Nature: Brave Nature Abilities: Intimidate Held Item: Magnet Information: Ami was given a Shinx egg by her mother once her mother realized Ami's passion for pokemon and training. Ami has had Aurora ever since and dotes on the Luxray. She brings her with her everywhere. As the unofficial "leader" of Ami's pokemon, they all listen to Aurora's instructions. She is the most possessive of Ami, having been with her the longest. It has eyes which can see through anything. It spots and captures prey hiding behind objects but more often than not, she uses this ability to find Ami's books and glasses. Aurora is the most high-strung of Ami's pokemon, constantly worrying over her trainer, the other pokemon and the safety of everyone around her. She does have a good deal of pride as well. She doesn't like to look foolish or caught in an embarrassing situation, becoming a bit aggressive if they occur.

Minerva

NOCTOWL Normal/Flying Type

Met at Level: 5 Current Level: 70 Gender: Female Nature: Modest Nature Abilities: Insomnia Held Item: None Information: Minerva or "Minnie" was Ami's other starter pokemon. Minnie often studies with Ami for her tests at night, resulting in sleeping during the day. Some have remarked that Ami's glasses make her look like her Noctowl. Minnie evolved from Hoothoot while Ami was headed to the lake. Minnie is the most serious of Ami's pokemon and doesn't play as much as the others. However, even Minerva thinks Ami studies too much sometimes and she has developed the habit of nipping at Ami's hair when she thinks Ami needs to get out or take a break. Whereas Aurora is the most proud of Ami's pokemon and considered the unofficial leader, Minerva likes to watch from a distance and keep her thoughts to herself. Minerva does have pride though, and that is in her flying. While not as fast as Socrates, Minerva has kept her abilities top-notch since Ami often takes her with her on missions and expeditions.

Socrates

DRAGONITE Dragon/Flying Type

Met at Level: Egg Current Level: 70 Gender: Male Nature: Jolly Nature Abilities: Inner Focus Held Item: Dragon Scale Information: Ami received the Dratini egg from an event. Even as a Dragonite, Socrates is very playful, often trying to bathe with Ami in the bathtub or joining her in the pool or diving in at the lake or ocean despite being over 6 feet tall. He practically makes instant friends with any pokemon he meets. Now a Dragonite, he has gotten incredibly large. He is no longer able to be held by Ami in her arms but relishes that he can hold Ami in his arms instead when she chooses not to ride on his back. He tries, however to still be held by Ami, much to her chagrin. Socrates, even though he is much bigger, is just as sweet and still loves Ami and the other pokemon she's bonded with. He tends to insist on wrapping them all up in his arms and cuddling them all at once, making them feel calm and content all at once. As a Dragonite, Socrates likes to fly even higher than before, making sure to bring Ami and her other pokemon with him. He is the fastest flyer of her pokemon, although Minerva will fly and train with him so she can improve her own flying abilities. He uses the training with Minerva to work on his agility.

Galileo

KINGDRA Water/ Dragon Type

Met at Level: 8 Current Level: 60 Gender: Male Nature: Adamant Nature Abilities: Sniper Held Item: Dragon Scale Information: Using a good rod, Ami fished for a Horsea on her birthday and with patience and accuracy, she succeeded. Naming him Galileo, he is technically her first water pokemon. Now a Kingdra, he was and remains a genius marksman and is more than somewhat cocky about it. He can down a target from 3000 paces with his ink or water spout and any other distance water attack; quite often, the victim won't even know what hit them. As he gets stronger, his aim and power continues to improve, as does the size of his enormous ego. Galileo will get competitive with Ami in the water, often trying to get her to race against him when they go swimming. If he cannot get her to be in a race, he tries to get Galen, Ami's Dragalge, to race him instead. Unfortunately for Galileo, Galen would rather chase him to kiss rather than race side-by-side. Galileo, much to Ami's amusement, remains completely oblivious to Galen being attracted to him.

Archimedes

CYNDAQUIL Fire Type

Met at Level: 31 Current Level: 55 Gender: Male Nature: Timid Nature Abilities: Blaze Held Item: None Information: Ami is a firm believer in having a balanced team. With that in mind, she went to bond with a fire pokemon, bonding with Archimedes as a result. Archimedes is shy by nature and spends the majority of his time curled up into a little ball either sleeping or pretending to be asleep. He dislikes confrontation and attention from those who are not Ami and Rei or their respective teams.... Actually, he will function perfectly as a kotatsu without complaint. Ami intensively searched for the Cyndaquil at the volcano while on an excursion with Yuuna and Usagi. She loves the little fire pokemon, and often has him sit with her while she studies. Because of Archimedes disdain for confrontation, in fact, he remains a Cyndaquil despite being well past the level of evolving to be a Typhlosion. Ami allows that to remain his choice and decision, supporting him no matter what level of evolution he's in. She has made it clear that she would love him no matter what. While Archimedes has been beside Ami in several battles now, he remains her constant companion in her studies and office, keeping her room a reasonable temperature.

Athena

Met at Level: 36 Current Level: 46 Gender: Female Nature: Sassy Nature Abilities: Keen Eye Held Item: None Information: Athena is very inquisitive of the world around her, and likes to explore, and has a bit of a mischievous streak. She also makes a habit of finding every hiding spot that she can, and hoarding nesting materials in odd places. Ami will find fluff, twigs, and other things scattered around her home because of Athena. Athena and Minerva have bonded quickly and often cuddle together if they can't cuddle with Ami when they finally do sleep. Because of Hedy's habit of hiding and moving things, Athena and Hedy will often steal form one another. Athena for her nests and Hedy for organization. Ami has tried and promptly given up getting the two to fight and is just glad neither can do any harm to one another.

Arber

WHIMSICOTT Grass/Fairy Type

Met at Level: 5 Current Level: 50 Gender: Female Nature: Bashful Nature Abilities: Infiltrator Held Item: None Information: Ami met Cottonee in the Verdant Forest and the little pokemon was quite content just cuddling with Ami upon first meeting her. Now a Whimsicott, Arber is a kind and generous Pokemon and doesn't mind being someone's pillow or makeshift scarf if they're suffering from the cold. Though, actually, it's not really clear whether or not her kind and generous nature is more that she's just comatose all the time. Being so warm and fluffy is tiring, OK? Besides, Ami doesn't seem to mind cuddling with her, neither does the nice Cyndaquil and Dragonite. Arber more often than not is not very useful in a fighting situation, favoring to help after the battle by comforting the pokemon and her trainer. After going to Yuuna, a master of evolution, Arber finally evolved into a Whimsicott. As a Whimsicott, she is far more playful and awake but still a big cuddler. She's still not find of fighting, but she has gotten territorial over her cuddle partners and is quick to fight for them if she feels someone is encroaching on her cuddling.

Darwin

GLACEON Ice Type

Met at Level: 24 Current Level: 56 Gender: Male Nature: Timid Nature Abilities: Run Away Held Item: None Information: Darwin is a bit cowardly and does his best to avoid conflict. He advocates strongly for peace and is actually quite persuasive and eloquent in his own way, but mostly this is just because he hates getting hurt. His last resort is usually the tried and true method of crying until your opponents feels bad for you. If he has to fight, he prefers using evasive techniques and the like but will resort to offensive moves in the face of his loved ones in danger. Thankfully, all of Ami's pokemon except the scary Luxray and Noctowls seem to just want to snuggle up. Darwin was especially impressed with Ami's reasoning capabilities, bonding with her quickly. While waiting for the results on her medic application, Ami went to intensively train up in the mountains near Ice Rock. This caused Darwin to evolve. Now a Glaceon, Darwin has become even more logical and "cold" in his reasoning to everyone but Ami. He still likes to cuddle with the other pokemon, mostly the Whimsicott, Arber. In an interesting turn of events, as a Glaceon, Darwin has become more fond of using tricks and traps in a battle, hoping to render the opponent unable to fight early on so both parties can walk away from the battle before real harm is done.

Bunsen

PUMPKABOO Ghost/Grass Type

Met at Level: 49 Current Level: 52 Gender: Male Nature: Rash Nature Abilities: Pickup Held Item: None Information: Found in the inner Wildwoods, Pumpkaboo has an instinctive dislike of all other gourds, believing them to be potential enemies in disguise. He attempts to blow them up whenever the opportunity presents itself and constantly tries to convince Ami of the hidden danger posed to Union by gourd demons. He is otherwise normal and unremarkable in most other matters, spending most of his time hunting down gourds. Ami has used his disdain to her advantage, however, and has him help with gourd carving during the holidays. He is the second largest size a pumpkaboo can be and uses his size to its advantage. Ami does have Bunsen help her late at night, however, as a means of light since he can provide a soft, unobtrusive glow.

Einstein

Beheeyem Psychic Type

Met at Level: 47 Current Level: 50 Gender: Male Nature: Serious Nature Abilities: Telepathy Held Item: None Information: Einstein does not live up to the stereotype of how aliens ought to act and can in fact carry on normal conversations. He has a rather cynical, apathetic personality though he appreciates Ami's incredible intelligence and finds her and Rei to be the only ones worth talking to. Around strangers, though, he takes advantage of the expectations directed at hims and communicates only in beeps and boops until people leave him and Ami alone. With his incredible intelligence, he will often play brain games with Ami. He'll begrudgingly help in stressful and otherwise difficult situations, only willing to do so as a last resort but otherwise insisting that if they got into the problem, they can get themselves out. However, Einstein can become fully involved in something he feels to be important and protect that with his life. Most days, Einstein would rather read and spend his days looking through Ami's extensive library. At the shrine he spends much of his time meditating.

Rosalind

VIVILLON Bug/Flying Type

Met at Level: 45 Current Level: 48 Gender: Female Nature: Naive Nature Abilities: Shield Dust Held Item: None Information: Vivillon is naive and playful and spends most of her time trying to figure out what game she wants to play next, which she's been like ever since she was a Scatterbug. These games are largely incomprehensible to anyone else but seem to involve scattering confetti, cheering, and giving presents of leaves in random patterns. She likes to award the other pokemon Ami has with these little awards often and Ami too. If you're a friend of Ami, you're likely to get them as well. Just roll with it. Vivillon is especially fond of the Cottonee, trying to often burrow into her cotton-fluff or trying to use her cotton-fluff in her designs and gifts.

Madame Curie

LAPRAS Water/Ice Type

Met at Level: 49 Current Level: 70 Gender: Female Nature: Bold Nature Abilities: Hydration Held Item: None Information: If Ami were a pokemon, Lapras would be that pokemon. They met in the dreamworld and instantly bonded. The giant water and ice pokemon is incredibly intelligent. Madame Curie is very gentle and caring, albeit a bit fussy. She never really wants to engage in battle if she can help it, preferring to try and discuss things and use cuddling rather than fighting as a last resort. But make no mistake at how fiercely protective Madame Curie is. Ami may as well be her human daughter with the way she fusses about her. She constantly wants to see Ami at her best and will often natter over her clothes, how much she studies, and how often she is spending time with her friends and socializing (more specifically, how little she does it). She does it out of love, but she can also be quite the busybody. She loves to sing along to Ami's harp when Ami does play. Madame Curie firmly believes in balance in mind, body, and heart. Studying must have equal parts relaxing and playing, you must have something unhealthy as often as you might eat something healthy, water must be balanced by fire. So of course she was instantly in agreement to Ami proposing to Rei. She will insist to any who asks that she not only encouraged it, but that it was her first idea in the first place.

Lovelace

SAWSBUCK Normal/Grass Type

Met at Level: 3 Current Level: 36 Gender: Female Nature: Bold Nature Abilities: Sap Sipper Held Item: None Information: Lovelace appears to have grown accustomed to humans, based on how aggressively she came up to Ami looking for free handouts. She has a habit of standing behind people and waiting patiently for food. In doing so, her face tends to be about 2 inches from the human in question. She's rather persistent, which proves to get tricky as she is now a fully-grown Sawsbuck and has antlers and far more bulk. Lovelace has a deep fondness for people and tends to view them positively and expresses similar opinions to other pokemon. Due to her coat changing to adjust with the seasons, she enjoys all weather and all climates, often wanting to play regardless of how blazing hot, freezing cold, wet, or humid the conditions are outside. As far as Lovelace is concerned, all weather is good weather, though as a grass type, she enjoys the warm sun the most.

Pascal

Met at Level: Egg Current Level: 20 Gender: Male Nature: Docile Nature Abilities: Flash Fire Held Item: None Information: Ami was given a Growlithe egg when she and the other senshi did an egg-exchange for the holidays. Much like Pascal's birth parent, Pascal has a very sweet nature. He is incredibly playful and likes to try and get all of Ami's other pokemon to play in a game with him. Every once and a while small fires do occur from his over-excitement, thankfully, there are a number of water and ice pokemon able to put anything out. He loves to cuddle with all the pokemon, even when the pokemon in question isn't the cuddling type.

Galen

Met at Level: 14 Current Level: 40 Gender: Male Nature: Sassy Nature Abilities: Poison Point Held Item: None Information: Skrelp may be a poison type, but don't mistake him for ugly. Galen is constantly preening himself and places an enormous amount of care on his personality and appearance. Ami will find herself the primary target of his ministrations, he feels she could be quite beautiful if only she put some effort into it! Ami is starting to wonder about why so many pokemon she has seem to insist about the way she looks!

Da Vinci

MEOWSTIC Psychic Type

Met at Level: Egg Current Level: 36 Gender: Male Nature: Timid Nature Abilities: Infiltrator Held Item: None Information: Ami was given an Espurr egg from Usagi and Luna. Da Vinci is a shy little Espurr, often hiding behind Ami's leg or one of the bigger pokemon when faced with new people. However, his timidness is not to be taken for granted or to assume he can't fight. Da Vinci may not want to fight, but that doesn't mean he can't. Much like his trainer, Da Vinci analyzes the situation and his opponent and then uses everything he can to destroy the opponent only to act as if nothing happened afterwards. Da Vinci likes to be artistic once he feels comfortable, using his psychic abilities to create things. He's especially crafty, often making sketches and pottery and little models with his psychic abilities.

Hypatia

FLORGES Fairy Type

Met at Level: Level 23 Current Level: 45 Gender: Female Nature: Rash Nature Abilities: Flower Veil Held Item: None Information: Hypatia, now an elegant Florges, has grown out of her rebellious phase and likes to show off her grace and beauty. She's eager to seek Ami's approval since she spent so many months (and levels) rebelling against Ami. She is quite a dutiful assistant to Ami's experiments, always having a vial or book ready on hand for her, able to do this in a way Aurora or Madame Curie can't either by lack of hands or because of sheer size. Hypatia also helps out at the shrine, tending to all the gardens to ensure they are beautiful for both Ami and Rei and the guests. Hypatia takes incredible offense when someone even bends a flower in her gardens, never mind plucking one.

Nightengale

Met at Level: Level 37 Current Level: 40 Gender: Female Nature: Docile Nature Abilities: Natural Cure Held Item: None Information: Chansey, for some reason, is extremely protective of its egg, and refuses to allow anyone to get near it. It seems to dream of having a child of some sort to care for and until such a person or Pokemon appears, it will use the egg as a substitute. It tucks it into bed at night and cradles it in its stubby arms whenever it's feeling down. Ami brings Nightengale to work with her and the Chansey is a natural with the patients, using her overprotective nature on them as well.

Aramis

Met at Level: Level 16 Current Level: 25 Gender: Male Nature: Brave Nature Abilities: Inner Focus Held Item: None Information: One of three brothers, Aramis is a flirt. He hits on women and men of all sorts, finding the inner beauty within everyone. While he is quite... ah- romantic, he is also incredibly studious. He is well versed in poets and famous authors, usually so he can quote them at someone while flirting but he has some enjoyment for them as well. Aramis is extremely loyal. The only reason he even went with Ami is because of her, Rei, and Makoto's promise to keep the three brothers together. Although, it didn't help that Aramis found Ami to be incredibly attractive and keeps attempting to woo her. Because of his fondness for Ami, he was quick to evolve into Lucario. As a Lucario, he's even more flirtatious than before.

Mercury

Met at Level: 30 Current Level: 30 Gender: Female Nature: Naive Nature Abilities: Torrent Held Item: None Information: Mercury is an eternally curious creature, and she likes nothing better than to poke her beak where it doesn't necessarily belong. Anywhere and everywhere, and she claims it is 'for science' though it's clear she doesn't quite understand the meaning of the word. There's no method to it, just curiosity. However, she's always very apologetic and easily embarrassed when she stumbles upon a particularly sensitive situation, so it could be worse, right? She bonded with Ami quite quickly, sensing a like-minded "scientist" in the blue haired girl.

Hedy

MISDREAVUS Ghost Type

Met at Level: 21 Current Level: 21 Gender: Female Nature: Impish Nature Abilities: Levitate Held Item: Spell Tag Information: Ami met Hedy at the Ruins, where she and Rei met the little spirit together. After spending Soulfasting dressed up as a Mismagius, Ami had the desire to become bonded with one. Misdreavus is a pretty laid back sort of ghost. She's easygoing, almost to the point of apathy about most things, except for one area. She hyper-focuses on organization and cleaning, and her living space is always completely spotless and clear of dust. She has a pretty unique system of organization as well, and Ami may find her things put in the strangest places. On the plus side, Ami will never miss her socks, if she can remember where Misdreavus keeps them. Perhaps the bread-box?
